Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
1. Acceptance
By using Reperbook (website, desktop, or mobile apps), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy practices described below. We may update this document; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email when appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Service
Reperbook provides tools to create, organize, and present musical repertoire (books, repertoires, slides, media), optional cloud sync, a digital store for licensed publishing workflows, and related features. Availability may vary by platform or region.
3. Account
You must provide accurate registration data and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, fraud, or abuse.
4. Subscription plans (Free, Solo, Pro)
Reperbook offers subscription plans with different limits and features (e.g. number of authored books, slides, storage, printing credits, store publishing, devices). Limits and billing periods (e.g. quarterly, annual) are shown in the app and checkout and may vary by country. Subscription and store prices are displayed and charged in the currency for your country or region, as shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment partners (e.g. Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to the selected plan until you cancel through the billing portal or supported flows. Taxes may apply as required by law.
Plan limits
Numeric limits (books, slides, storage, etc.) are enforced in the product. If you exceed a limit, some actions may be blocked until you upgrade, delete content, or wait for a reset period where applicable (e.g. print credits).
Changes
We may adjust plans, prices, or limits with reasonable notice where required. Existing subscription terms at purchase remain until renewal unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation and renewals
You manage cancellation and renewal through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from the app. If you schedule cancellation at the end of the current billing period, paid features remain available until the period end date shown in your profile. When the subscription fully ends, your plan returns to Free.
Plan or billing changes
Changing plan tier or billing period in supported flows may clear a pending cancel-at-period-end and apply new charges or proration as determined by Stripe.
One subscription per account
The product is designed for one active Stripe subscription per user. Operational processes may cancel clearly duplicate active subscriptions, keeping the primary one. After a subscription has fully ended, you may start a new one where supported.
Payment problems
If Stripe reports a failed payment or requires action (for example past_due or incomplete), you must update your payment method or complete required steps in the Customer Portal or as directed in the app.
5. Intellectual property
You retain rights to content you create, subject to licenses you grant to Reperbook to operate the service (hosting, processing, display, sync). You must have rights to any material you upload. If we receive a valid copyright notice, we may remove content and take other appropriate steps. You agree not to use Reperbook to distribute infringing material.
6. Store, sales, and fees
Selling in the Reperbook store may require a qualifying plan (e.g. Pro) and compliance with publication rules. Store and payment fees, commissions, and net payouts are shown in the seller/admin flows or help center and may vary by region. Subscription fees and store commissions are separate concepts: both may apply where relevant.
7. Advertising
We may display in-app promotions or partner offers. Where required, you can manage certain preferences in device or account settings.
8. License for purchased content
Content you purchase is licensed for personal, non-commercial use within the app unless the creator offers broader terms. Redistribution or public performance beyond what you have rights to remains your responsibility.
9. Payouts and transfers
Seller balances, minimum payout thresholds, schedules, methods (e.g. bank transfer, Pix), and fees are defined in the financial section of the app or separate seller terms. Amounts and dates shown there prevail over any generic example. If we receive a complete and actionable infringement report concerning store content, we may suspend access to that content, freeze or retain related amounts (including amounts that would otherwise be available for seller payout) for up to ninety (90) days or until the dispute is resolved, whichever comes first, to verify facts and protect buyers, sellers, and the platform against fraud.
10. Refunds
Digital goods and subscriptions are often delivered immediately. Refund eligibility follows the rules displayed at purchase and applicable law. Subscription refunds, if any, are handled according to the payment provider and our policy stated in checkout.
11. Support
Support is provided via tickets or channels indicated in the app. Response times may depend on your plan where applicable.
12. Privacy (summary)
We process account data (e.g. name, email, country), usage and device data needed for sync, security, analytics, and payments. Legal bases may include contract, legitimate interest, and consent where required. You may have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection depending on jurisdiction. For details, contact us through support.
Data retention
We retain data as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes.
International transfers
If data is processed in other countries, we use appropriate safeguards where required.
13. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or failures beyond our reasonable control (including third-party payment or network outages).
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The revised version will be posted with an updated date where applicable.
15. Governing law and venue
Unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, with jurisdiction in the courts of Florianópolis, SC, subject to consumer rights that cannot be waived.
16. Copyright complaints and DMCA (United States)
If you believe content on Reperbook infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice with the information reasonably required under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), including identification of the work, the material claimed to be infringing, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act. Our designated agent for DMCA notices will be published in the Help/Legal area and may be updated. Upon a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to content and notify the uploader.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe the notice was mistaken, you may submit a counter-notification with the information required by applicable law. We may restore content after the statutory waiting period unless the rights holder initiates further legal action. Repeated infringement may result in account termination.
17. Platform role and seller responsibility (safe harbor)
Reperbook provides hosting, payment tooling, and distribution infrastructure. Sellers are solely responsible for obtaining all rights, licenses, and clearances for lyrics, chord symbols, recordings, artwork, and any third-party material they upload or sell. Reperbook does not verify that every musical work is licensed; compliance with copyright and related rights is the seller's obligation. To the extent permitted by law, Reperbook limits its liability for seller-uploaded content subject to applicable safe-harbor regimes.
18. Withdrawal, refunds, and seller payout hold (cooling-off)
Depending on your country of purchase, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within a minimum period (for example, seven calendar days in Brazil for many consumer distance contracts, subject to exceptions). Digital content may be exempt or partially exempt where full performance has begun with your consent—see checkout disclosures. Until the withdrawal period expires without a valid refund request, or after a refund is completed where applicable, amounts attributable to sellers may be held and not finalized for payout. Sellers should not expect to receive funds from a specific sale until the cooling-off / dispute window for that sale has ended; early payout is not available merely because a seller requests it. If purchased content is subject to a copyright or rights complaint, we may suspend your access to that content in the app and retain or freeze funds linked to that transaction for up to ninety (90) days or until the dispute is resolved; refunds are not automatic and depend on the outcome of review and applicable law.
Brazil (CDC orientation)
For consumers in Brazil, the right of regret (article 49 of the Consumer Defense Code) may apply to distance contracts within seven days, except where the law allows exceptions for digital content that has been fully accessed with consent. The exact effect depends on the nature of the product and checkout terms—review them at purchase.
19. Permitted Jurisdictions
Reperbook is offered only in the countries explicitly listed in the country selection menu during account registration. Use of the service from any country not on that official list is strictly prohibited, even if another country is mentioned in marketing materials, development roadmaps, or technical documentation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reperbook disclaims liability for legal non-compliance, payment failures, or local rights violations arising from use in unsupported regions. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe operate from unauthorized jurisdictions. The contractual, tax, and consumer rules that apply to you are those relevant to the country you truthfully select at registration and to each purchase, as shown in checkout.
Rules by country and phased availability
These Terms are designed so that, when we enable a country for signup, the applicable local framework for that country governs consumer aspects together with these Terms and checkout disclosures. We may keep country records for markets not yet open. Only countries shown as selectable at account creation may be used to register; the live list may be smaller than the full set of countries we store for future rollout. From time to time, new registrations may be limited to specific markets (for example Brazil, the United States, and Mexico). You must not select a country other than your real place of residence or misrepresent your location to circumvent these restrictions.
